I have been a Raleigh-ite almost my entire life. In 2016, I graduated from Raleigh Charter High School to join the UNC Chapel Hill Honors College. I am currently an undergraduate student working towards a BS in biology and a double minor in chemistry and Chinese. My love for animals and science has inspired me to pursue the pre-health track with veterinary school in mind. With that said, I am taking many opportunities to explore all options. After years of shadowing veterinarians at Bowman Animal Hospital, I look forward to joining the Bahnson Lab to explore the option of research. This summer, I will be studying cell-mediated delivery of cinnamic aldehyde to reduce inflammation. I am excited for this experience and the doors it will open.
