Dr. Bahnson visits the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus

Dr. Bahnson gave a talk for the MARC/RISE programs at the University of Puerto Rico – Río Piedras Campus. Dr. Bahnson talked about redox therapies in vascular disease and talked about research opportunities and graduate careers in biomedical sciences. He particularly talked about research opportunities at UNC-Chapel Hill. He had an opportunity to meet with a smaller group of interested students to discuss his research and career options. Dr. Bahnson also gave a seminar for the graduate program in chemistry series discussing the use of targeted nanocarries for the treatment of vascular disease. He met with several investigator and discussed possible collaborations, hopefully establishing the bases for a productive relationship with UPR-RP.
